1. Who we are

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” means the operator of FPL Desk. “You” means the person who creates an account or uses the service.

2. The service

FPL Desk is an unofficial web companion for Fantasy Premier League (“FPL”) classic mini-leagues. It lets a league admin wrap a public FPL classic league, set last-place pot rules, invite managers, and view live scores, chips, captains, form and generated news copy about the league, all drawn from the public FPL API.

FPL Desk is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Fantasy Premier League, the Premier League, the Football Association, or any related company. FPL names, logos and data remain their property.

We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of the service. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 16 to create an account. You must be at least 18 to start or pay for a league subscription.

You must give accurate details, keep your password secret, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.

If you sign in with Google, Google’s terms and privacy policy also apply to that sign-in. We may require you to verify your email address before some features work.

You can close your account from the account page. If you still own a league, you must transfer it or delete it first.

4. Leagues, invites and claims

An FPL classic league can be wrapped on FPL Desk once. The person who creates that desk is the admin (owner). Other people join with an invite link and claim an FPL team from the roster.

You must only wrap a league you are entitled to use in this way (for example, a mini-league you play in or run). You must not harvest other people’s FPL data to spam, dox, or sell.

Admins can change pot rules, manage members, and delete the league. Deleting a league removes the desk and memberships. It does not change anything on FPL itself.

Invite emails, if you send them through us, must only go to people who would reasonably expect an invite to that league.

5. Fees and subscriptions

The price is £3.99 per league / month, billed to the league admin. Members do not pay us to join or use a desk they were invited to.

A new league admin’s first desk starts with a 7-day free trial. We collect a payment method at checkout and do not charge it until the trial ends. If you cancel before then, you pay nothing. The trial applies once, to that first desk. Later desks, or a returning admin, are billed from the start of the subscription.

Prices are in pounds sterling. VAT will be added or included as required by law. We may change the price for future billing periods; we will give at least 14 days’ notice to the admin before a price change takes effect.

Subscriptions renew each month until cancelled. Payment is taken through Stripe. You authorise us to charge the payment method on file for each renewal.

If a payment fails we will email the admin and Stripe will retry the card. The desk stays open until the end of the period already paid for; if the payment has still not succeeded by then, we may suspend the desk until the card is updated. Members’ free access depends on the admin’s subscription remaining in good standing.

6. Referrals

Anyone in a paying desk may share a personal referral link. The offer is: a referred person who starts their own paid desk gets the first month free (a Stripe trial, with a card on file) instead of the usual 7-day free trial. The desk the referrer belongs to receives a credit equal to one month’s fee once the referred person has paid two real invoices — that is, after their second month of paid use. Joining someone else’s desk as a member does not count.

The first month free applies only to that person’s first desk subscription. You cannot refer yourself. Referral credit is not cash and is not transferable. We may refuse, reverse, or withhold a reward where we reasonably suspect abuse (including duplicate accounts or self-referral).

7. The pot is a ledger, not gambling

Pot rules (last-place stake, optional second-last, currency, start gameweek) are a private scoreboard for your group. Ties split. Managers with no score that week are skipped.

FPL Desk does not take stakes, hold money, process pot payments, settle debts, or act as a bookmaker, pool operator, or payment intermediary for the pot. We do not provide gambling facilities. Any money that changes hands among your group is entirely between you, outside this service, and at your own risk.

You must not use FPL Desk to run unlawful betting, to involve under-18s in staking, or to collect money from people who have not agreed to your side game.

8. FPL data and availability

Live scores and other FPL figures come from the public Fantasy Premier League API. We do not control that API. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Official FPL scores and ranks remain the ones on the FPL site.

The news copy is generated for entertainment. Treat it as unofficial colour, not as a news source.

We do not promise uninterrupted access, particular uptime, or that the service will be error-free. Planned maintenance and third-party outages can happen, especially on Saturday afternoons.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

• break the law, or help anyone else to;
• abuse, harass, or impersonate other users;
• probe, scrape at abusive rates, or attempt to disrupt the service or the FPL API;
• bypass authentication, rate limits, or invite controls;
• upload malware, or use the service to send spam;
• resell or white-label the service without our written permission;
• present FPL Desk as an official FPL, Premier League, or FA product, or as a gambling operator.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

10. Intellectual property

We own (or license) the FPL Desk name, design, software and generated copy. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or reuse them except as needed to use the service.

You keep any rights you have in the name, crest and content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host and display that content so the service can work.

Premier League, FPL and related marks belong to their owners. Their appearance here does not imply endorsement.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited under English law.

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights if we fail to provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Those rights are not affected by the paragraphs below.

We are not liable for: FPL API errors; arguments in your mini-league; pot debts between managers; loss of profit, data, or goodwill; or events outside our reasonable control.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the greater of £20 and the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Consumers

If you buy a subscription as a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply. See the cancellation and refunds policy for cooling-off and how to cancel.

13. Privacy

We process personal data as described in our privacy policy and cookie policy.

14. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date will change. If a change is material and you have an account, we will try to email you or show a notice in the product. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the new terms, except where the law requires a different process.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring claims in their UK home courts.

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are the whole agreement for the service.
